SusGrip combines two classical mechanisms - taking the large stroke range of angular grippers and the parallel jaw precision of parallel grippers, and leaving out what made each one a compromise.

High-Mix Machine Tending - One Gripper For 43 SKUs
The Challenge
High-mix CNC machine tending for load-bearing cover components - 43 part variants, ranging from Ø25 to 157 mm in diameter. Too many variants to automate with pneumatic tooling, the line ran on manual labor - handling oily, slippery parts by hand, continuously.
Apicoo's Solution
Apicoo automated the line with 4 SusGrip-3F units, replacing manual handling entirely.
SusGrip-3F is a parallel concentric, 3-finger electric gripper with a 10-150 mm stroke range, 5 kg payload, and 160 N gripping force. Its stroke and gripping force are software-defined rather than fixed by hardware.
